Junior Achievement
Students in grades 2,3,4 & 5 at Cathedral have been participating in the Community Junior Achievement Program. Junior Achievement's Elementary School Program brings volunteers from the community face to face with students for the simplest of human interaction-sharing.  Classroom volunteers make economic concepts relevant and help prepare the students for academic learning and lifelong achievement. There are 5 lessons that range from 30-45 minutes each a volunteer facilitates them, typically once a week over the course of 5 weeks.  Each grade goes on a field trip in Crookston to cumulate the activity.

Gym Floor
Cathedral, Crookston Park & Recreation Department and the Crookston Youth Basketball Association are working together to repair and refurbish the Cathedral gym floor.  The addition of 2 side baskets for basketball is also being planned. A grant for $2,000.00 has been received from MidContinent to help with the expenses.  The project is planned to be completed this summer.
