Kindergarten and 1st Grade Students at Cathedral School visited the Warren Audubon Society for their end of the year field trip. After completing a pond study the students compared their findings to the chart to find out the names of what they found.

Cathedral School Second Graders from Mrs. Kraft's class spent some time Thursday volunteering at The Villa. The students cleaned hand rails, washed off chairs, helped in the daycare, and worked in the kitchen. They are pictured here with Jean Ann Bienek, the volunteer coordinator at The Villa.

Cathedral School students participated in their annual track and field day at UMC field. Students competed in running events, long jump, high jump, softball throw and the three legged race.

Cathedral Students submerge themselves under the sea in 3D to show us how to dive deeper in God's world and word. Under God's Sea in 3D, will be presented on Tuesday, May 18, at 7:00 pm in the Cathedral Church.

Cathedral School 5th Graders performed two versions of the play "Miss Louisa and the Outlaws" for parents and students. The first version featured Morgan Kresl as the courageous school teacher, Miss. Louisa. The second version, "Mr. Louis and the Outlaws", featured Charles Eickhof as Mr. Louis. The play tells the story of one room school house in the Old West.

The 2nd and 3rd Graders at Cathedral School Tour the G.F. Air Base. Their highlight was being able to board the plane and check it out. The Air Base gave an awesome tour!

Cathedral School held its annual Learning Fair on Thursday night in the school gym. Students focused this years entries on the arts along with skits, piano pieces, dances and instrumental selections. Tim Parr's exhibit was a favorite stop as he demonstrated how to frost and decorate cupcakes while handing out his finished product to the viewers.

Cathedral School 1st and 3rd Grade Buddies celebrated the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day. The students created ‘Trash Monsters’ and used them to collect garbage and grass covering graves at Calvary Cemetery.

Muira MacRae (3rd Grader at Cathedral School) along with her parents Ian and Colleen traveled to Australia in February. Today she shared with her class the highlights of her trip including culture, geography, and food!

Cathedral School Second graders in Mrs. Kraft's class wrapped up their "Under the Sea" unit with a special project. They made 3 - D ocean animals to hang up in their classroom. The second graders spent three weeks studying ocean animals and corral reefs. Miss Kristina Gregg, a senior at UND studying elementary education helped to put together the projects.

Cathedral School 1st and 3rd Graders spent their "Buddy Time" writing letters to the Seminarians from the Crookston Diocese. Each set of buddies will continue to pray for and write to their seminarian to show support for them during their faith journey.

Cathedral School 1st Grader's celebrated the 100th Day of School at Cathedral on Wednesday. They went on a scavenger hunt around the school to find one hundred 100's! It took two tries but all were found!

Cathedral School Sixth Grader's are writing reports about countries around the world. Marie presented her report about South Korea. Marie enlisted the help of a UMC student from South Korea, who showed the class her traditional dress and music from her country. Marie and Doug display the flags from the countries they wrote about.

Bingo is always a hit during Catholic Schools Week. Both students and teachers participated and had a lot of fun.

During Catholic Schools Week, student sent letters to the military. Each class enlisted a student to participate.

Students at Cathedral School were entertained by banjo player, Dr. Rand Rasmussen, on Monday as they kicked off Catholic School's Week. Dr. Rasmussen played a variety of folk music for the children who sang, clapped and danced along. Students also performed one hour of service work in the community that day.

The annual sailing of the Titanics took place in 3rd Grade at Cathedral School. All ships managed to stay a float this year. The students were so excited!
